community members in such projects to lead to self sustainability.

The majority of the population in Uganda is highly dependent on subsistence farming and barter trade within village in order to survive. With the income generating projects AASU wants to enhance self sustainability and lead the people to better livelihoods in the village of kibuye.

To fulfil this aim, AASU has set up a few income generating projects like candle making, beads rolling, tailoring, among others. With these projects running, the village is so overwhelmed with happiness and all community members are excited to take on each and every project we introduce.

For the future, we are hoping to introduce more projects like mushroom growing, livestock farming, poultry and fish farming.
